NERDSC aims to champion the North East’s Defence and Security strengths – driving innovation, attracting investment, and unlocking new opportunities for regional businesses. It does so through connecting industry, academia, and government to foster collaboration and develop future-ready solutions that boost economic growth and supports the UK’s defence and security ambitions.

As an accredited JOSCAR supply chain member and a proud Make UK Defence member, we understand the sector’s needs and challenges. Combined with our advanced CNC capabilities, this enables us to deliver mission-critical solutions that meet the highest standards of precision and reliability demanded by the Ministry of Defence (MOD).

Our involvement with NERDSC reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting the defence industry, while championing the North East’s industrial strengths and skills base.

We are already proud members of Make UK Defence, GTMA, and the North West Aerospace Alliance. In addition, we have recently received the Bronze Award for the Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme.
