We are delighted to announce that NTG Group has received the Bronze Award for the Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme
This certificate is awarded in national recognition of NTG Group’s commitment to the Armed Forces.
NTG Group, comprising NTG and ABS Precision, signed the Armed Forces Covenant. The Covenant is a promise from the nation that those who serve or have served in the armed forces, and their families, are treated fairly.
To receive the Bronze award, companies must have – at a minimum – signed the AFC; confirmed their understanding of the AFC and ERS and what it means to be a supporter of the Armed Forces community with the appointed DRM; and informed their workforce of their positive support for the Armed Forces community.
Nick Betts, Group Business Development Director at NTG Group, commented: “Receiving the Bronze Award is something we’re incredibly proud of. As a business working closely with the defence sector, we recognise the dedication and sacrifice of the Armed Forces community.
“Signing the Covenant and achieving this recognition reinforces our commitment to supporting service personnel, veterans and their families – both through employment opportunities and by promoting a culture of respect and understanding across our organisation.”
As an accredited supply chain member of JOSCAR and a proud member of Make UK Defence and NE RDSC (North East Regional Defence and Security Cluster), NTG Group already works closely with the defence sector and understands the high standards and demands placed on its supply chain.
