We’re delighted to share the news that NTG Group, which represents both NTG and ABS Precision, has signed the Armed Forces Covenant.
A promise by the nation
The Covenant is a promise from the nation that those who serve or have served in the armed forces, and their families, are treated fairly.
At NTG Group, we’re delighted to demonstrate our commitment to the armed forces community through both their employment and our pledge to support and champion serving personnel, service leavers, veterans, and their families.
Our signature joins that of more than 13,000 businesses that have pledged to treat armed forces members and their families with fairness and respect.
Deep-rooted expertise in the defence sector
As an accredited supply chain member of JOSCAR and a proud Make UK Defence member we already understand the needs and challenges of the sector. Combine that knowledge with our advanced CNC capabilities, we can deliver mission-critical solutions that meet the highest standards of precision and reliability as demanded by the Ministry of Defence (MOD).
Our promotion of the Armed Forces Covenant is a further step to show our support for the armed forces community, and the defence industry. We look forward to developing relationships and working collaboratively with other organisations to support the Covenant and armed forces.
Proud to support those who serve
Nick Betts, Group Business Development Director at NTG Group, commented: “This pledge is a further step to show our dedication and gratitude to the armed forces community. We hope to leverage our position within the engineering and manufacturing community to encourage all to treat those who serve, or who have served, and their families with fairness and respect in the communities in which they live and work.
“As an inclusive employer we welcome applications from the armed forces community and accommodate the needs of individuals with a supportive and nurturing working culture.”
We’re excited to implement company updates in response to our pledge, and we would welcome others in our community to investigate and consider demonstrating their support.
